

The Richmond Export Import Club has officially changed their name to Virginia International Business Council effective May 23, 2008
VCU School of Business in now taking registrations from individuals interested in furthering their knowledge of international business.

today's highly interconnected global business environment, information,
knowledge and actionable insights will determine international commercial
success (or failure) more than anything else. This reality is fully comprehended
by the Virginia International Business Council (VAIBC - formerly Richmond
Export-Import Club).
The Board voted to adopt this below new mission statement and name change to better reflect the globalized environment in which we exist today.
As such, the VAIBC has adopted as its mission to be a foremost provider
of impactful, international intelligence with respect to market opportunities,
sourcing possibilities, environmental realities and the strategies and
tactics related to global business success in Virginia.
